The 20th New Jerusalem New Song Festival

November 2nd, 2008 by kelz06

Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD (Psalms 150:6).
Now the Church members are getting more passionate about establishing of the realm of the gospel throughout the whole world. The fervent members gathered together at a festival to praise God with new songs and renew their determination to preach the gospel worldwide.

The 20th New Jerusalem New Song Festival was held at the Okcheon Go&Come Training Institute on June 18th, a month after the 4th Departure Ceremony for Overseas Missions. Over 12,000 members nationwide and 100 overseas members from nine countries in Asia attended the event. It was the largest New Song Festival ever.

During the rehearsal, the beautiful songs of the choirs filled the main hall of the Institute; the songs were all new, and the hearers felt refreshed and godly as well. All the new songs which were sung this day were composed in a simple and easy manner so that all members around the world could easily learn the songs, engraving the importance and blessing of singing a new song.

The total number of members in 10 choirs was 1,500; each team consisted of 150 members. Each choir is formed by some members of several Churches that belong to the same Association. So many members had to travel long distances to come together and practice. For this reason, we’ve not practiced a lot. Though we didn’t have many opportunities to practice, we shared much brotherly love while singing a new song together. As a result, we bore many fruits during the practice period, said the choir members.

The opening worship service began at 1p.m. Mother gave thanks to Father for giving the children of Zion an opportunity to gather together. Mother prayed to Father, Please bless this festival, so that all participants may become one with new songs and the overseas members who keep their faith in difficult circumstances may be filled with the burning fire of the Holy Spirit.

Mother said, Let us follow Gods word with perfect faith like the forefathers of faith, so that everything we hope for can come true. Mother reminded the members that they, as Gods children, should please God because He gave them the citizenship of heaven and salvation.

The Bible says that without faith it is impossible to please God, and that God is most pleased when we lead a dying soul to the kingdom of heaven. Mother said, Father has opened all the doors towards the world so that the whole world can receive the gospel. Let us move God with 100 percent faith, so that we can fulfill 100 percent of our hope. As the members were encouraged by Mothers words, they were determined to fulfill the world missions with perfect faith.

After the service, the main event began with a cappella song. The Go&Come A Cappella singing group sang in Chinese for the overseas members, and their song deeply touched all the attendants.

The first choir to go on stage was the Elohist Choir. Before each choir began to sing, a video of each team was played, which showed the members’ practicing and their resolution. The attendants could see each choir’s characteristic and unity though the videos.

The Elohist Choir was followed successively by the Isaac Choir, the To Heaven Choir, the Aineo Choir, the New Continent Choir, the David Choir, the World Mission Choir, the Heavenly Angels Choir, the Big Smile Choir, and the Linen Choir. All the attendants were captivated when they heard each choir singing in beautiful harmony and with bright smiles.

The festival atmosphere became more heated by some special performances. A beautiful ballet performed by the Childrens Choir reminded all the attendants of the heavenly angels flying freely. After that, there was a cheerful dance and song by high school students, and it was followed by the young adult members energetic dance and song. Then the overseas members sang a new song, by which they expressed their emotions they felt through the Holy Spirit in the arms of Jerusalem Mother. The audience gave them a big round of applause.

After all the choir teams finished singing, while the results were being collected and tallied, the attendants watched a play and some videos. The play showed the actual problems which the young adult workers, university students and soldiers face while preaching the gospel. It also suggested the solutions to those problems, and gave the attendants a realization that where they are right now is the best place for the gospel work.

Through a video entitled Lets Go to the New Continent of the Gospel and another video entitled Resolution Rally for Self-Supporting Mission Overseas, the attendants engraved in their hearts again the gospel mission that is to be fulfilled by Gods children in this last age.

Lastly, the awards ceremony was held. Before awarding the choir teams, Mother especially complimented those who had worked hard to compose new songs and granted some of them special awards.

ⓒ 2006 WATV

Among the new songs composed during the last couple of years, some songs that made a deep impression on the members were selected, and 20 lyricists and composers of those songs were given awards. The lyricists gave glory to God, saying, The best writer in the whole universe is God who wrote the Bible and the Books of Truth. One of the awarded composers said, I only tried to bear the fruit of repentance, but God blessed me for that. Id like to produce fruit in keeping with repentance through new songs that express the glory of Father and Mother.

After the special awards for some lyricists and composers, the 20th New Jerusalem New Song Festival Awards Ceremony began. Three teams received the Incentive Awards, three teams the Bronze Award, and two teams the Silver Awards. Among the two teams left, the Grand Award was given to the World Mission Choir which sang praise to God with a new song entitled Like Cedar. The choir members delightfully said, We practiced, relishing the lyrics, and we prayed a lot. We want to spread the fragrance of Christ with unchanging faith like cedar that emits more fragrance as time passes.

Pastor Byeong-Un Choi in charge of the World Mission Choir expressed his impression, I give thanks to God for allowing us to praise the new name with a new song. It was a result of the members unity effort they made during the practices.
When the awards ceremony ended, Mother complimented all the choir members and said, Please reveal the glory of Father through gracious songs. Mother appreciated the efforts of those who had worked hard for the New Song Festival to be held, and also encouraged the overseas members.

Chief Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim stated that the 20 New Song Festivals had been held and grown so much. He desired that more gracious new songs would be made and that choir members would increase in number. He added, All those who praise Elohim God are worthy to receive awards. Please work hard for the gospel so that the holy name of Elohim God can be glorified through new songs among all the nations.

A new song is a song of thanksgiving to God that the members of Zion sing with their spiritual voice. Through this festival, the members realized more deeply how meaningful and important new songs are and prayed for the sound of singing Elohim God to fill the new continent of the gospel where the new covenant is being preached. The overseas members who attended this event said, We felt as if we had been in heaven. We could feel that we are truly the heavenly family, and we understood Mothers infinite love for Her children. We will keep this feeling and realization even when we go back to our physical home country, and will please Mother by working harder to find the heavenly family.

The sound of singing the new songs, which began from the east ends of the earth, will fill the whole universe on the day when the realm of the gospel is established all over the world.

Long Walk to Freedom

November 2nd, 2008 by kelz06

article by: Bill Powell
review by: Me - Keelee

I have just finished reading Long Walk to Freedom (hereafter, LWTF) by Bill Powell. This article was the cover story of the Asia edition of TIME magazine last April 23, 2006. And I certainly believed that I had the good fortune of having been given a task of making a review of the article as a requirement for SSP2 (Asia and the World).

LWTF is a fascinating article mainly because it tells of one moving tale. Reading the article is like watching a television documentary - it brims with big names, drama, spectacular effects and of course, the trademark chest thumping. The article does tell how North Koreans risk their lives to reach freedom, with the aid of American Christians. It is also an expose into the life and death of North Koreans as they try to escape their homeland and China. The inside tale of one escape.

LWTF is a story that fills in a lot of gaps and sheds a lot of unanswered questions about what happens when a North Korean goes out of his or her borders. Kim Myong Suk was one of them.

Why do these people want to escape from their country and what happens if they are caught?

My motivation was hunger, and also there is no freedom in North Korea. It is a closed society. Even though we were out of the (labor) camp, we fwlt we were locked up in that countryKim says.

Here is Kim’s story.

February 1998 - Kim Myong Suk 9an alias she uses to protect herself and her relatives) was twenty years old when she fled from North Korea to China. She was immediately “sold off” into marriage. Her husband was a Chinese peasant from Heilongjiang, and it took time for Kim to grow her affection for him. Then she became pregnant. Unfortunately, on October of the same year, the Chinese police conducted their periodic raids in search of refugees from North Korea. Kim was one of those who were arrested. She was immediately sent back to North Korea and was sentenced to three years in labor camp. There, she was treated inhumanely and eventually lost her unborn child. But she was released under a special amnesty decree after one and a half year. Again, on March 2002, she escaped and was on China for a second time. Together with her sister and mother in the city of Mudanjiang, she met an ethnic Korean-Chinese man and got maried again. In China, there is a threat for them to get caught again, so Kim’s mom and sister decided to go to Seoul. Kim stayed in China. But her mother kept on worrying about Kim and said that she would do everything to get Kim out of North Korea and Chinese border. Finally, on October 2005, Kim’s case was brought to Rev. Tim Peters (an evangelical Christian pastor from Michigan) who runs the Seoul-based charity Helping Hands Korea - an organization aiming to assist North Koreans in crisis. Then they did the so called “underground operation”, the Seoul Train.

Having said that, let me share what struck me the most in the article: The very long process and the amount of money one should have in order to go through the secret route. The operation is different from any other rescue operations. It needs money, a meticulous plan and reliable people. There is no magic formula to know how many people and how much money is needed, hence, it varies in time and situation.

Today, there are an estimated 250,000 North Korean refugees living underground in China. They escaped a food crisis and other persecutions at home that have claimed the lives approxiamtely 3 million in the past ten years. As the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) stands idly by, the Chinese Government - in direct violation of international laws to which it is a party - systematically arrests and forcibly sends back hundreds of these refugees each month. Defecting from North Korea is a capital offense, and sent back refugees face human rights abuses ranging from concentration camps and torture to forcedabortion and summary executions.

For a lucky few refugees, however, there is hope. A group of multinational activists has taken it upon themselves to create an Underground Railroad. Via a network of safe houses and escape routes, the activists - at great perconal risk - help the refugees on daring escapes to freedom over hundreds 9and sometimes thousands) of miles of Chinese territory. This is an odyssey where betrayal and deceit lurk around every corner, and the price of getting caught likely means death. It is an epic tale involving years on the lam living in the underground shelters, North Korean and Chinese agents, double-crossings, covert border crossings, and the terror of what happens if they get caught.

In order to capture the essence and urgency of the current crisis, a story of one refugee (Kim) is told through interviews - and I will go on record to say that the article is very well written because of that. I tip my hat off to Bill Powell for thw wonderful manner in which he was able to weave the refugee’s story, the secret route and the North korean politicsinto one seamless tapestry. You follow the refuge from her arrival in China - before she begin her escape attempts - as she recount the horror she left behind. You also hear her fears of being caught and sent back to North Korea, where she knows her doomed fate.

In Seoul Train, you meet the activists on the front line, learn of the risks they take for their refugees and for themselves, and see firsthand the toll their work takes on them.

Their system of government is to blame for this situation surely.

North Korea is a classic example of the “rule of man.” Overall, political management is highly personalized and is based on loyalty to Kim Il Sung and the Korean Worker’s Party. The cult of personality, the nepotism of the Kim family and the strong influence of former anti-Japanese partisan veterans and military leaders are unique features of North Korean politics.

Freedom of the Student Writer

August 31st, 2008 by kelz06

WHAT IS this freedom of the (feeling) writer?
It is freedom to be intelligent and informed. Freedom to be ignorant is not freedom, for what is freedom? Is it not liberation? And what is ignorance but a prison?
One should be prepared to die for freedom – and how silly it would be to die for one’s ignorance!
How many editors want a writer who believes in freedom?
Freedom of a writer is freedom – to resign if his editor is not a proper editor, and how many editors are proper editors? Let us be truthful. We know one another.
But what if the student writer himself is an improper writer, without any encouragement from his editor?
    Freedom is inseparable from character.
Let us think more about this freedom business.
Let us consider the serious practitioners of this thing called journalism in schools. Not the press prostitutes and degenerates that give the profession such a bad name, assuming it can have a better one.
If one would practice journalism in a serious fashion, one must be free, but the freedom of a writer, the freedom of an editor is merely an extension of the freedom of all the students.
This is what I am trying to say: No matter how serious one may be, how dedicated to journalistic ideals, if one does not have enough readers, one will go out of business. It is not enough to be serious, to be free – one must earn the right to be taken seriously. To establish intelligence and integrity takes time and unceasing effort of both mind and will. The exercise of freedom is fraught with consequences. Freedom must be earned. It must be based on a long record of dedication to reason.
Journalism is a mission. It is literature in a hurry.
We are not as needed as school nurses, subtle as professors, constructive as counselors and obstructive as (some) officials, but we exist and have a proper function. Let us be what we are or are supposed to be. If we cannot be more, let us not be less than journalists. Let us practice journalism in schools.

As I Remember Him

May 20th, 2008 by kelz06

Somewhere a long way off a bell was ringing. It kept ringing and getting closer. Finally it completely shattered my disturbed sleep, but the weariness that made my body seem a lump of metal was still there. Automatically I pushed the alarm button on the clock, slowly swung my legs out of bed, and came fully awake as the soles of my feet touched the floor.

Later, as I went to the school, it seemed impossible that nothing had changed. The streets were filled with cars, and people were rushing to work as usual. The faces that came into focus at habal-habal stops were the same faces I had seen so many times before. I looked at the back of the driver’s shirt. GOSHODA 28. And it reassured me. They have driven me up to the admin building and to my college at the kanluran so many times during the last three years.

This morning I arrived, as usual, slightly before eight o’clock, and I was at my room a few minutes later. But this time it was in a different room in a different building. The old familiar objects were there– the chairs, the table– but they were shoved against the wall. It was like seeing all the letters in your name arranged in a different way. You knew they were the same letters, but it wasn’t your name.

I caught myself wondering, What would my professor and classmates think if they should walk in and see all of this? `I couldn’t stand seeing these things in a state of confusion, and I started arranging the seats.

Carrying one of the chairs, I rubbed my finger against the razor edge of another chair. As I squeezed a drop of blood from the hairline cut, the sharp pain brought me back to reality. With a sudden rush, for the first time, I fully realized that in that horrible split second four years before in this school all my dreams during the last ten years had been shattered, and those years, like an intended boat, were in danger of drifting away.

I sat down at my chair and looked out the window. Where once I could see the students chatting and laughing, now I was sitting in that very building looking toward the atrium, where I had walked so many hours filled with hard work, historic events, and happy times. I thought of my friend for whom I had happy times, once so alive and eager to accomplish, now lying silent under the sod just two miles away. I had thought there could not be any more tears to shed, but they began to come again.

There were many other things that I can remember; but most of all I remember his love for the finer things in life, not only for himself but for all mankind.

This was the man I picked in 1989 to be my boss. To be myself and to be a future me, although I had neither met nor seen him at the time.

Pull the wool over somebody’s eyes

May 20th, 2008 by kelz06

Listen to me. I will tell you the truth about a man’s life. I will tell you the truth about his love for women. That he never hates them. Already you think I’m on the wrong track. Stay with me. Really- I’m a master of magic.

Do you believe a man can truly love a woman and constantly betray her? Never mind physically, but betray her in his mind, in the very poetry of his soul. Well, it’s not easy, but men do it all the time.

Do you want to know how women can love you, feed you that love deliberately to poison your body and mind simply to destroy you? And out of passionate love choose not to love you anymore? And at the same time dizzy you with an idiot’s ecstasy? Impossible? That’s the easy part.

But don’t run away. This is not a love story. In fact it ends here.

Vote Your Favorite Actor…. Into OFFICE?

March 25th, 2007 by kelz06

DO not be surprised. Expect at least one if not all of the celebrities running for political office to have a position in the government. Track the history of elections and the people winning and it is no surprise that most of the political figures were once public figures or what we call celebrities. Should celebrities be encouraged to run for public office?

The thought of celebrities running for office can be connected in one scenario in Back to the Future- a scientific fictional novel- specifically Doc Brown’s (main character) shocked response when Marty tells him that Ronald Reagan is President of the United States in 1985. "Then who’s vice president?" asks Doc, "Jerry Lewis? I suppose Jane Wymann is the first lady. And Jack Benny is secretary of the Treasury”. It is a little joke that is so perfect. It is not surprising if Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis revolved the entire script based on that one situation of trying to explain to someone from the past that a B ‑ movie actor has turn out to be the head of the nation.

Nowadays the idea of celebrities becoming politicians isn’t as funny, because there have been so many in office. Just like in the United States of America, from the very famous Arnold Schwarzenegger to the lesser-known Fred Thompson, they are/were mayors, governors, senators, diplomats, you name it. Apart from those who actually run and/or are elected, there are a number of celebrities with political interests that don’t include holding office. Actors such as Warren Beatty, George Clooney and Sean Penn continually gain media attention for their activist campaigns and charity work, and are constantly asked about their desire to run in the future.

In the Philippines, from Vilma Santos to Joseph Estrada, Jinggoy, Ramon Revilla and Bong, they are celebrities who gained political powers through their positions in the government and by the people who voted for them. They are just few of the many public figures turned political figures. And in this coming May 2007 election, still, several candidates are celebrities, like the boxing champ Manny Pacquiao and others like Cesar Montano and Richard Gomez.

In an era of political scandals and an increasingly unpopular war, does the country need a popular celebrity to take back the government “for the people”?

There are a number of factors that have made it possible for celebrities to run for elective office. One key aspect of celebrity politics in the post-World War II period has been the emergence of television and its enormous consequences for the political process. Prior to 1960, when television emerged as a major communications avenue, most people got their public affairs information from newspapers. In 1959, for example, more people indicated they received most of their information from newspapers and found the printed press to be more believable than television. Within ten years, though, these numbers would become reversed. Ever since that time, more people have tuned into television and found it to be a believable source compared to newspapers.

The television era advantages celebrities because these individuals are skillful at using the medium, are photogenic, and are very good at attracting media exposure. As the culture has moved toward the adoration of celebrities, celebrities make for great copy and receive a great deal of coverage when they enter into the political realm. In addition, celebrities are perfectly matched for the contemporary political era because of their wealth and fundraising capacity. With the high cost of political races and the large amount of money required to broadcast ads, fundraising is vital to electoral success. Finally, celebrities make good candidates because of the "white knight" phenomenon. In an era of extensive citizen cynicism about conventional politicians, voters often see celebrities as white knights from outside the political process who are too rich to be bought and thereby deserving of trust from the electorate. This gives celebrities a kind of credibility that normal politicians do not have.

But being famous alone does not guarantee victory as seen by the failure of John Glenn’s presidential bid, Oliver North’s unsuccessful Senate candidacy, and Bill Bradley’s inability to wrestle the Democratic nomination away from Al Gore, all in the US. Political success requires qualities beyond a famous name and celebrity background.

The biggest challenge for celebrity candidates is the tabloid press. Befitting their past as entertainers or just public figures, celebrities attract both positive and negative coverage. More so than other politicians, celebrities tend to get very personal coverage. Reporters are much more likely to focus on their background and personality than their substantive stances. This can either help or hurt celebrities, depending on what things are in their past that get uncovered by reporters.

The ultimate question of celebrities is what kind of office-holder will they be. Do celebrities make for effective governors, Senators, and representatives? What challenges face them when they win a major office? What determines how successful they will be in the governing process? Are they of worth of being elected?

Definitely not. Not to generalize it, but not all celebrities are smart especially when they aim for a public office.

Experience counts. Several experts said celebrities do better in office if they have some earlier experience with the political process. But seeing it, most celebrities running for office do not have any experience. It is an obvious use of popularity to gain political power. Worse case is that some celebrity candidates did not even finished schooling when they should have before entering politics. Education is very crucial here since we are talking of nation building and nation leading for progress. In addition, the very qualities (independence and originality) that voters find appealing often set against the media and legislators. When these individuals start complaining, voters sometimes see the celebrity as an amateur and a novice who is not up the governing job. If that perception becomes widespread, it is hard for celebrity politicians to govern very effectively.

Celebrities cover those candidates that are more worthy of the people’s votes. They are famous. People love them because of their shows, their acts, performances their products and everything. It is very unfair for those more deserving candidates because these celebrities are the ones often seen on public. That is why people more than likely to vote them right away into office-without thinking their abilities in politics- than the best candidate. People only see their skills as TV personalities and their abilities to convince people themselves.

One of the major difficulties that plague celebrity politicians is the problem on the lack of a firm political base. To win office, celebrities often assemble unconventional coalitions that transcend normal party alignments. Unlike established politicians who most appeal to conventional political constituencies, celebrities can build coalitions that are more broad-based. They can reach out to Republicans, Democrats, and Independents without necessarily compromising their public support. Although this electoral strategy works very well and helps to explain why celebrities win, this same quality harms them in the governing process. The presence of broad voter support often is based on a faithfulness that is not very deep. The lack of a firm base means that when their public supports drop, they do not have a committed base that will stay with them through thick and thin.

The possibilities are endless, the tabloids are at the ready and we, the public, are willing to consider it. Horror of horrors: Celebrity politicians are here to stay.

But whatever the possibilities may be, celebrities should not be encouraged to run for public political office.

Celebrities are famous for acting, singing and being famous. They should be happy with the fame that they possess and not try to parlay that on to another profession. Despite the few exceptions, actors should keep acting; rappers keep rapping.

If you are famous for what you do, keep doing it.

A Critical Study on the Real Essence of ART

March 14th, 2007 by kelz06

The world has become a very visual one - art is all around us, or at least they are art as people classify them. Understanding art is understanding our world. A good first step is to try to understand what is mean by art.

"Art–the conscious use of skill and creative imagination especially in the production of aesthetic objects."–(Webster’s Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary)

The word "art" comes from the Latin ars, which, loosely translated, means "arrangement" or "to arrange", though in many dictionaries you will simply find it tautologically, translated as "art". This is the only universal definition of art—that whatever it is was at some point arranged in some way. A few examples that show this meaning is too broad, includes artifact, artifice, artillery, medical arts and military arts. However, there are many other colloquial uses of the word, all with some relation to its etymological roots.

A definition of art that seems correct to many Americans in the 21st century is likely to differ greatly from definitions of art in non-Western cultures, in tribal societies, and in other historical periods (Barnes, 2006).

Defining art raises problems also in that since the beginning of the 20th century some artists have sought to challenge the very definition of art. Their art objects may lack the qualities long associated with art, such as beauty, skilled craftsmanship, and clear organization. These art objects may even be indistinguishable from consumer products.

Art is a very slippery subject for whom everyone has a different definition. There had been a lot of curiosities on art. Academicians, thinkers, and scholars of all ages and nationalities around the globe have endeavored to define this thing called art.  However, the definition of art is extremely elusive or indefinable. It is difficult (or perhaps impossible) to come up with a single definition that will include all forms of art and please everybody.

Recent attempts at explicating the essential character of art have given rise to discussions concerning the significance of this question for artistic or aesthetic theory and to skepticism in some quarters about the very possibility of defining ‘art’ (Berleant, 1964). While this issue raises numerous difficulties, not the least of these revolves around the nature of the concept of ‘art’ itself. Some term it an “open” concept, since its boundaries, by the very nature of an empirical concept, cannot be finally drawn. Consequently, defining art is a very subjective matter.

Thus, the word art connotes a sense of ability, of the mastery of a medium, of the efficient use of a language so as to express meaning, nearness or depth. Making this judgment requires a basis for criticism: a way to determine whether the sensory input meets the criteria to be considered art, whether it is perceived to be ugly or beautiful. Perception is always colored by experience, so a reaction to art as "ugly" or "beautiful" is necessarily subjective.

Although a firm definition of art may seem like a good idea, and

philosophers in the field of aesthetics have attempted to come up with one, it is

possible to create and enjoy art without such a definition.

Breaking the Global–Warming Gridlock

March 14th, 2007 by kelz06

Environmental weakness is also on the rise. The connections between weather impacts and environmental quality are immediate and obvious—much more so than the connections between global warming and environmental quality. According to The Atlantic Online deforestation, the destruction of wetlands, and the development of fragile coastlines can greatly magnify flooding; floods, in turn, can mobilize toxic chemicals in soil and storage facilities and cause devastating pollution of water sources and harm to wildlife.

Thus who causes these phenomena, especially the global warming?

It has already become a controversy.

The global warming controversy is a debate about the causes of observed global warming since the mid-20th century, as well as the expected magnitude and consequences of future warming. A major part of the debate centers around what actions, if any, society should take in response to the prospect of future warming.

There is one prominent person whom had explanations about these subject matters, as to what causes or who causes global warming.

An Inconvenient Truth is a documentary film about global climate change, which has been shown in theaters across the United States during the summer of 2006.

Al Gore may have missed his profession: He would have made a fine science writer. The former U.S. vice president’s new book — a movie tie-in entitled An Inconvenient Truth, like the film hitting screens in New York and Los Angeles this week — shows an impressive talent for explanatory and illustrative journalism. Based on a slide show that Gore has been perfecting on his Mac laptop for years, this handsome volume doesn’t pack quite the same punch as the celluloid version, but it’s still very effective: a book on global warming that’s downright frightening and alarming to a lot of concerned citizens.

Certainly as human-caused biodiversity loss and climate disturbance gain ground, we need to keep our sights clear and understand that the measure of a threat is not a matter of whether it is made on purpose, but of how much loss it may cause. It’s an ancient habit to go after those we perceive to be evil because they intended to do harm. It’s harder, but more effective, to go after, meaning to more effectively educate and socialize, those vastly larger numbers of our fellow humans who are not evil, but whose behavior may in fact be far more destructive in the long run.

If to give my learning about the documentary narrative film, it would be that addressing climate change such as global warming is no simple task. To protect ourselves, our economy, and our land from the adverse effects of climate change, we must ultimately dramatically reduce emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases.  To achieve this goal we must fundamentally transform the way we power our global economy, shifting away from a century’s legacy of unrestrained fossil fuel use and its associated emissions in pursuit of more efficient and renewable sources of energy. Well, that is scientifically speaking.

Undoubtedly, if all will come as one in accepting this inconvenient truth in our world and try, just try to prevent or lessen it, our world will be a better place for the future generations to come.
